What would I do without UHertz pointing out things like this to me? That's a link to a Sun story about Christina Ricci's next film, Monster, in which she stars with Charlize Theron as the "lesbian lover of a serial killer." Quoth Ms. Ricci:

I’m pretty fucking naked. My agent persuaded me to go for it. She keeps saying, ‘You have beautiful breasts’.
Awwwww yeah.

DMB has announced tour dates for the summer - they'll be in George on August 7th & 8th. Yay!

The 7th is my oldest girl's birthday... sounds like she'll be going to her first big outdoor show this summer. She's seen the Backstreet Boys and N'Sync, and I'm taking her to see Avril Lavigne later this spring, but she's definitely never seen anything like DMB at the Gorge.

Doogie Howser plays Cabaret's emcee, and looks scary as hell doing it.

My old company's latest product gets a writeup in SC Magazine, who are either paid to write such glowing reviews or really into filtering products.

Sentian? WTF?

Bah. If this list of the 50 Most Significant Sci-Fi and Fantasy Books of the last 50 years doesn't contain the Mars trilogy by Kim Stanley Robinson, it's credibility is already shot. I pretty much agree with it otherwise. Both LotR and The Silmarillion are on it, as are two Heinleins, two Asimovs, two Clarkes, and one too many Rices.
