Most reviews I've read hate it, but Ebert likes it, and though he's not relevant anymore according to Matt, he also describes a movie that's exactly what I would expect - pulpy and fun, like the adventure books it's meant to emulate. Also jiggly, though big Rog still doesn't mention it.
Saw Pirates today and that was nice. If you look in the dictionary under "chewing the scenery", you'll see a picture of Johnny Depp and Geoffrey Rush in their pirate schwag. Much fun though.
