One year ago today, I was pissed that the Yankees had lost, the Giants had lost, the Huskies had lost. Today, I'm happy that the Yankees won, the Red Sox won, the Cubs won... however:
Fucking USA
Fucking Canada
Fucking Seahawks
Fucking Huskies
Those soccer games were both just agonizing, especially Canada 1:2 Sweden. I was just crushed when Sweden got that second goal, so late in a game that Canada had laid claim to, even though Sweden was clearly the better team. I don't even want to talk about Germany 3:0 USA.
