Congratulate us - today is the 19th anniversary of getting together with my lovely wife. We passed the "been together half our lives" anniversary a while back. Next year we'll have been together for 20 years. We're planning on a trip to Tahiti for that occasion - the operating principle of that vacation will be doing absolutely nothing. We were looking at brochures for various resorts and so forth, with all kinds of activities (scuba, sailing, horses, biking, hiking) and after a while we looked at each other and said, "no." The whole point of this is to do nothing - to get up whenever, wander out to the beach, and just soak it up all day long, beer in hand and my bride by my side. I can't wait.
Our wedding anniversary is December 26th, and this year will be our 13th one of those, so not quite as cool. But still.
Nineteen years. Fuck.
