Stayed up late watching the Perseids. Not very exciting tonight; at best we were seeing about 30 per hour. Apparently the peak is between now and tomorrow night, so an equal chance to see them then.

Starry Night Pro is a cool piece of software. I never look at it until there's a meteor shower to locate, and then I always wonder why I don't spend more time messing about with the program.

Also, others have said it, but I'll add my ridicule: the Alone in the Dark trailer is the height of dumbosity. You'd think Christian Slater would know better. I expect this sort of trash from Tara Reid. I not only don't want to see the movie now, but I wish I had the two minutes I spent watching the trailer back so I could do something constructive with it instead, like kill Uwe Boll.
