Let's kill Saddam, eat a Big Mac, and watch The Bachelor!
Well, here we are. It's everything we'd hoped and more. Everything here is geared to our relaxation - the food is awesome, the drinks are strong and plentiful, the sun is hot, the water is perfect. I'm writing this as I look up at the stars and the moon from our lanai on a perfect 75 degree evening. Deb's asleep already.
Hawaiian Airlines managed to send our luggage to Lihue on Kuai instead of here, so we spent yesterday evening and this morning without it. That was OK, though, as it gave us an excuse to go buy some native clothes last night.
Debbie sunburned her back (couldn't reach that part when she was lotioning up) and I sunburned the tops of my feet (which I could reach, but the fins I wore while snorkeling in the bay today rubbed it off.) Debbie also burned the bottoms of her feet on the sand. She's fine, of course, just a bit uncomfortable.
Tomorrow we're going on a glass-bottomed boat excursion out on the reef after breakfast. Wheeee!
