Never, never, NEVER question the engineer's judgement.
I never knew that about myself. I've always hated fish, seriously. It turns out that I just hate bad fish cooked incorrectly. The fresh-off-the-boat fish here is just incredible... I've had swordfish, ahi, ono, mahimahi, spearfish, salmon, lobster, shrimp, and some others I don't remember, all incredibly good. If for nothing else, come to Kona Village for the food.
The maitais aren't bad either, nor the snorkeling, the sailing, or the sunsets. Or the manta rays. Or the dolphins. It's all just about the coolest thing ever.
