It says something about Canadian society that we are simultaneously decriminalizing marijuana and criminalizing smoking. Since, y'know, pot is something that generally gets smoked. It'll be funny a little further along the path to see people get arrested for smoking pot, but only because they were smoking it. Maybe they'll all have to learn to bake.

Saw Avril Lavigne last night (again). She was quite a bit better than last time (a little over two years ago) where she didn't seem to be having much fun. Last night she was all smiles, very energetic, with a more mature voice and manner than before. Very very cute, too. I got the shirt with the pink fairy Avril on it. All in all a grand time. I took a bunch of pictures but in every single one, Avril is just a blazing white silhouette. It's like she's too holy for photographs. I'll post up a couple if I remember. I still owe you Hawaii pics.
They had a "TXT your own message" thingy that was displaying on the big video screens before the show - stuff like "Amber n Katie RULE yo" or "Avril I luv u!" mostly. I sent "I hate you all" and got it on there which produced a big laugh from the crowd.
