Fine day to work off excess energy. Steal something heavy.
Lots has happened since the circuit died. Our coolest kitty, Nikita, Princess of Darkness, Captain Midnight, got hit by a car in front of our house last weekend. That sucked; I found her while the girls were all having a shopping day in Seattle. Had a funeral and buried her in our backyard. She was undeniably my favorite cat in years.
Our Disneyland vacation is in two weeks - we're taking one of Sierra's friends with us (she's never even been on a plane, let alone to Disneyland) and I can't wait to see her reaction. We've got 6 full days in the park. OMG I'm so excited.
On the subject of travel - here's a weird thing. I always thought that a site like Expedia was way cheaper than using a travel agent. I've heard it said many times since the advent of net travel sites that agents are a dying breed. That may be, but it's stupid. We booked the Disneyland thing on Expedia and a couple others first, using the exact same packages to compare prices (same flights, same hotel, same extras, identical across the board,) and the prices were uniformly around $4500 total. Then we called a guy we know at Doug Fox Travel and had him book a trip. Same flights, same hotel, same days, same extras, and it was $2950. Incredible. We had him check on prices for a trip that duplicates our Hawaii trip in July, and the same price difference applied - about 35% less than what we paid through Expedia. Incredibly incredible.
The Seattle Sounders are playing for the USL championship tonight at Seaquest Stadium. I'd like to go but dunno if anyone wants to go with me.
Anyone seen Corpse Bride yet? We're hoping to see that this weekend... we're hoping that Disneyland is all CorpseBrided up, the way the Haunted House was decorated with a Nightmare Before Christmas theme two years ago in November.
Lastly, I made a Jessica Alba Sin City wallpaper, because while she's normally just another cute actress, in that movie she's the most gorgeous creature on earth. Too much Nancy Callahan is not enough.

Just watched Team America. Very funny in parts. The puppet fucking was particularly disturbing.
