One nation under surveillance.
We're in our pre-travel mode, cleaning the house, doing laundry, relaxing. It's the right kind of day for that, drizzly and damp. The rain is so light it looks like snow right now, just floating down. I've got about 10 Premier League games to watch with the resumption of league play this weekend; watching the ancestral side Wigan Athletic playing Newcastle right now.
So that downtime had horrific effects on the AdSense earnings; in the two weeks prior to Qwest fucking everything up, the site made just under $75. In the two weeks since it came back up, it's made about $3. Incredible. Gradually rising again, though.
I'm probably going to have to do some work while we're down south, not least because we're opening our 5th satellite office in Newport Beach, apparently about 10 miles from Disneyland, very close to John Wayne Airport. I'm not on the hook to actually go over there right now, but there's going to be several of our "advance team" there this coming week and I'm expecting to get a couple calls from them to troubleshoot. I hope not.
Anyway. Dunno if I'll update while I'm down there... the little lady tends to frown upon messing with computers while we're on vacation.
