...parents need to deal with death the same way they do with sex: abstinence education. Tell kids not to do it. Just Say No to Death. That's what parents want, isn't it? To keep their kids from dying? So go ahead and tell them that.

Death isn't a bad thing to be afraid of. It's not like a spider that you can scoop up in a mason jar and shut outside. And unlike spiders, you don't want your kids thinking death is cool. Despite the fact that the ragdoll physics were the best part of Flat Out, that's still just a game. In real life, dying sucks hairy goat penis. Tell them that too, it'll give you some cred.
