@807 (10:22am) Exciting stuff, shopping.

I just bought a new GPS unit via Ebay (this one). I was the only bidder, so that was nice, but I got a unit that retails for over $450 for $299 instead, brand new, unopened retail box. I splurged on the shipping cause I have no patience whatsoever.

Downloaded the new Firefox 1.5 release here at work; I'm hoping it solves some of the niggling little problems with DNS timeouts and such that irritate me so much on my laptop. 'Course, I'd need to download it to my laptop in order to determine that.

I have a meeting-filled day today - it's like eating a donut and finding little nuggets of crap all through it. I don't have much else to do today, though; I'm so damn good at what I do that I can motor through it in an hour each morning and waste the rest of the day.

That's a lie, by the way.

@841 (11:11am) Hell, just let him run the country, too.

Ex-FEMA director Brown is starting a disaster-preparedness consulting business, because he, like, knows how things can go bad. That story is the very definition of rich.
