If you loan someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.
Forgot to mention what I did Wednesday night - go see the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. The first half of it was cheap religious crap that drove me crazy... spoken word stories interspersed with music, supposed to be uplifting and whatever. After that, though, they really got going, and it's a show that you really have to see once in your life. They have the most amazing light show ever, and you just can't beat a version of Carmina Burana done with a choir, a heavy metal band, and a full orchestra. I took some illicit video of their big finale, just so you can see the light show, all the lasers or whatever. Turn the sound off first - the mic on my Treo is way overloaded by the decibels. I'm guessing this gets removed by Youtube pretty quickly; if so I'll just put it on my own server as a download.
